Check it out. Finally found that map. Somewhat unprofessional, but it's traveling pretty quickly through the web. Words are kind of small, but hey, I want to do my part to spread the information.

Otherwise, I've got things to do. Tayva is trying to talk me into going on an outing to get some food, either by looting or taking from the refugee centers in the Eldorado Hills area. I think she just wants to have some alone time for some more lovin'.

She's standing right behind me, isn't she. (Love ya babe.)

Michael out, for tonight at least. Stay alive!

My internet connection was disrupted for awhile, the cable around here is a bit spotty.

It's suprising how well Russia is doing. They're probably burning the money they got from oil and gas revenues to fund military operations.

Africa collapsing is no suprise. Half of the countries were on the brink before this happened.

Who is the new Madhi? Osama, perhaps?

My parents and I have taken in a 17-year-old girl, named Anisa, a neighbor whose parents were on vacation (in Cancun...) when this all happened. We took as much food and supplies along with her into our house (including a 9mm handgun her father owned, a good thing since we didn't have any guns. Dad has it now, he's the only one of us with any weapons training). We hadn't met before this incident (this is a rather transient neighborhood), but while we were going around talking to neighbors (and when I proposed my hairbrained scheme of turning a townhouse block into an ark) we found her home alone. She's a fairly nice girl, rather quiet and upset over not knowing where her parents are (apparently none of her other relatives are nearby, and she's an only child).

So I'm not the only one getting stranded with chicks during this episode. Lemonade from lemons, right?

I was considering the prospect of building an Ark, but man, it would have been a huge project. I am very glad that they turned on the lights.

I'm annoyed about the Mehdi. There is no evidence at all about him, because he is 'sacred' or something. No pictures, no audio recordings, nothing. Maybe he isn't real, maybe he was just 'created' by the Islamic nations to hold control over their peoples and attack the others while they are weak.

In your expert opinion, what do you think that pillar is, Daniel?

An alien construct of some sort is my theory. You ever hear of Alien Space Bats? I hang around alternate-history websites, and it's a catch-all for anything that takes place in an alternate history that's completely inexplicable or improbable (it had to be caused by said alien bats meddling with humanity). My theory thus is that Alien Space Bats (be they actual aliens, Q-like beings, or a deity of some sort) are having an effect.

The Madhi is probably some crazy cleric somewhere. Maybe Osama, but I'm not sure.
